How does #MathProblems? work?
It's simple. Have a look at our packages listed and give us a call/email to book. We offer packages for 10, 15 or 20 sessions per quarter. If you would prefer more sessions, you are welcome to add sessions at a reduced rate. We schedule sessions for you and confirm your availability. We will do our absolute best to accommodate you around your other commitments.
You will attend class at our premises at the scheduled times and Moniki or admin will arrange appropriate times for you.
We do not believe that large groups are conducive to effective learning experience, hence we aim to keep classes as small as possible (groups of 5 or less, unless otherwise arranged). We also attempt to pair groups from the same schools so that we can focus on the subject matter that is being attended to in your class at your school.
We do not offer Mathematics and Science seminars prior to exams, because of the simple reason that research proves they don't work. Moniki will assure that you are prepared for your examination and will schedule classes prior to your examination to make sure that you are prepared optimally for your examination.
Your achievements are our achievements. When we do well, we celebrate together, when we don't, we cry together, get back up and work even harder to prepare for the next round.
What makes us different?
WE CARE! That's what makes us different. We care about all our students and will do what is necessary to develop each and every student to the best of our ability. You will work exclusively with Moniki and she will personally assess and develop your skills.
We don't simply deliver a service, we build lasting relationships with all of our clients.
Moniki is available for questions and help, even when you're not at class. If you have a question, she is available via Whatsapp, email or telephone to help you out with questions or concerns.
Moniki communicates with parents and students regularly to update you on your progress and address any questions and/or concerns that you have. If there is a matter which she feels is a concern, she will contact you to discuss it and try to find a solution.
Why extra classes?
Contrary to popular belief, extra classes are not intended solely for students that have "difficulty" mastering the subject matter.
We have many students that achieve in excess of 90% for the subjects and wishes to maintain these marks. We also have many students already achieving 60% or more, but wanting to achieve higher marks.
It doesn't matter what your marks are. Whether you're failing, barely passing, looking for that distinction or just feel that you are not "getting it", we are here to help.
Tradition dictates that only students with poor performance or that can't "keep up" attend extra classes. This cannot be further from the truth. In today's world, the academic arena has become increasingly competitive, which is why we equip you with the skills to compete.
Students wishing to gain university acceptance will know that your marks, especially in Mathematics and Science, has a great influence on whether or not you will be accepted for your chosen course at your chosen university.
